Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide provider of skilled trade services. We are seeking a Commercial Construction Driver (Class A) responsible for operating commercial vehicles and heavy-duty trucks to transport materials, equipment, and construction supplies to regional locations. During non-driving or standby hours, this position will also assist with warehouse and yard operations as needed. The shift is Tuesday through Saturday 6 p.m. to 2 : 30 a.m.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate flatbed vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, box trucks, and / or service body vehicles
- Hook up and tow trailers as needed using a heavy-duty vehicle
- Load and unload cargo following proper tie-down protocols
- Track and document driving activity in logbooks
- Communicate delivery expectations and updates with dispatch and management
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Assist with warehouse and yard duties when not hauling freight
- Perform additional warehouse or yard tasks as needed
Requirements :
