Note

This is a hybrid position. The hired candidate must be available to attend court in the surrounding areas of either Turlock or Bakersfield, CA.

Bonuses are typically an additional $50k - $75k with no cap

Job Description

  • Manage a caseload from initial consultation to resolution.
  • Engage in all phases of discovery and litigation.
  • Represent clients in depositions, hearings, trials, and related proceedings.
  • Maintain proactive case management, including regular file reviews and timely settlement demands.
  • Conduct client intakes and process them promptly.
  • Supervise and mentor assigned case workers, providing regular feedback and guidance.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate and active California State Bar license.
  • Prior experience in Workers Compensation or Social Security Disability law (1+ years).
  • Applicant side workers' comp experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in negotiation and sound judgment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus.
  • Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.
