General Summary of position :
Provides technical support for computer hardware, software, telephones, emails and office equipment. Responds to branch and / or departmental requests for installations and general assistance; and acts as an information source to others. Employees in this job class interface with third party vendors and monitor a variety of server backups and virus logs. This job class requires knowledge of computer hardware and software systems, and the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve a variety of computer problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
IT Support responsibilities including, but not limited to :
- Provides technical support for telephones, emails, computer hardware, software and office equipment for bank employees; responds to branch and / or department requests for assistance and installations.
- Acts as a general information source to others regarding use of personal computers, related workstation hardware and software programs and equipment; telephones and email; responds promptly to incoming calls from network users; logs all reported incidents.
- Troubleshoots a variety of problems and resolves immediately when possible; refers unsolved problems to IT Officer or appropriate third party vendor; monitors problems.
- Installs local workstations, printers or scanners as directed.
- Unlocks and reset bank users when needed.
- Assists with additions, changes, corrections, and physical moves of existing personal computers and telephone systems; may coordinate efforts with external vendors
- Set up new employees in all systems necessary for their job responsibilities.
- Disable terminated employees in all systems when needed.
- Maintains effective working relationships within IT department, bank employees and a variety of outside vendors.
- Assist in IT audits and exams and complete any noted violations and recommendation made.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems effectively.Strong communication skills for explaining technical issues to non-technical users.Experience with Windows operating systems, hardware, and software.Experience with helpdesk and ticketing systems.Required Personal Characteristics
