Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN / LVN) will provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. The nurse will assist in assessing withdrawal symptoms, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.

Unit : Detox – 3rd Floor

Department : Detox / Psychiatric Unit

Trauma Level : II

Setting : Acute Care

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 10 (2 LPNs and 2 PCTs per shift)

Charting System : Allscripts

Required Qualifications

BLS (AHA)
