About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager – Software to lead and scale our engineering teams responsible for building customer-facing applications and developer infrastructure. This is a high-impact role for an experienced engineering leader who excels at balancing technical depth, product intuition, organizational leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will work closely with Product, Design, Operations, and other Engineering leaders to define and execute on our roadmap, while scaling the team and raising the bar on engineering excellence. You’ll be instrumental in influencing the direction of the product and ensuring the architecture supports NexHealth’s growth and innovation goals.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership : Drive the long‑term vision and technical strategy for critical areas of NexHealth’s platform.Team Development : Hire, grow, and retain top engineering talent; mentor emerging leaders; and foster a culture of excellence, ownership, and innovation.Execution Excellence : Own the delivery of complex initiatives across multiple teams, ensuring clear alignment between product goals and technical execution.Cross‑functional Collaboration : Partner with Product, Design, and Go‑to‑Market teams to deliver best‑in‑class customer experiences.Technical Oversight : Guide system architecture, scalability, and maintainability across product domains; champion best practices in code quality, testing, reliability, and security.Org & Culture Building : Shape organizational structures, career paths, and team processes to promote high performance and strong engineering culture.What You’ll Bring
7+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including managing managers or larger organizationsExceptional people leadership skills with a proven track record of coaching and developing engineers and managersDeep experience delivering complex, customer‑facing software at scaleStrong judgment in balancing product velocity with long‑term technical qualityDemonstrated ability to define and drive both technical and organizational roadmapsExcellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, able to partner fluidly with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and other teamsA builder mindset with experience scaling teams and systems in fast‑paced environmentsStrong ownership and initiative in ambiguous, evolving contextsBias for action grounded in data‑driven decision makingFirst‑principles thinking applied to technical and organizational challengesDeep care for people development, team health, and cultureAlignment with NexHealth’s core values and missionBS / MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceBenefits
