Are you looking for an exciting, fulfilling role where you can showcase your skills without the hassle of constant travel? As an HVAC Specialist , you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our residents stay comfortable year-round, all while enjoying a fantastic work-life balance!

In this role, you'll take charge of maintenance and service repairs for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems, solving problems and ensuring optimal performance. Plus, you’ll be able to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment where every day brings a new challenge!

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Maintenance for existing HVAC units - maintain, repair, preventative maintenance
  • Installs and repairs hydronic pumps, pipes, and fittings.
  • Establishes and maintains a preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Performs preventative maintenance tasks independently or in coordination with facility maintenance staff.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs control systems, including valves and air compressors.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs refrigeration equipment.
  • Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
  • Performs duties with the highest concern for working in and around resident’s homes (i.e. noise, cleanliness).
  • Utilizes work order system to track hours and materials used.
  • Estimates materials, equipment, and labor hours to create quotes for projects.
  • Performs other tasks including but not limited to assisting the Lead Maintenance Tech. and assisting with grounds projects.
  • ✅ What You’ll Need :

  • Formal training in HVAC and refrigeration work, required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with HVAC, required.
  • Experience with boilers and commercial air handler units, preferred
  • Must possess a valid unrestricted state of Michigan driver's license.
  • Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to a minimum of 50 lbs.
