Just for Kids is a community-centered non-profit organization that offers before and after school and summer programming in the Amherst, Cheektowaga Central, Cheektowaga Sloan, Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga), Grand Island, Sweet Home, and Williamsville Central School Districts. We also offer programming at The Park School of Buffalo, Saints Peter and Paul School in Hamburg, St. Benedict School in Amherst, St. Mary's School in Swormville, and Nardin Academy in Buffalo.
Position Summary :
Acting as a manager-in-residence, develop knowledge, skills and abilities needed to work in a management capacity, by shadowing and supporting the Program Manager in all program capacities.
Responsibilities Include :
Program Development
Staff Management
Recordkeeping
Ongoing Training and OCFS requirements
Any other duties specified by the Program Manager and Just for Kids School Age Program administration
Schedule
Before and After school programs follow the District / School calendar, Monday through Friday, 7 : 00am - 8 : 45am & 1 : 45pm - 6 : 00pm, plus 1 hour of planning each week school is in session. Both Before and Afterschool and Afternoon only positions are available.

Requirements :
Experience and Education : 2 years of experience working in childcare and 1-year supervisory experience preferred. 18 credits of education related course. Bachelor's degree; major in Childhood Education is preferred. Preferred current CPR and First Aid certifications.
Requirements :
Physical Requirements : This position is very active and requires walking, bending, kneeling, running, twisting and squatting. This position includes prolonged periods of standing and frequent bending. Generally, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.
