American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Antioch, California.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in California requiring a current CA RN license and Advanced Life Support certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital setting
  • Patient population includes a range of emergency cases across all age groups
  • Variable shifts with start times between 3 : 00 PM and 7 : 00 PM, working 3x12-hour shifts per week
  • Alternating weekend shifts are required
  • Department will strive to keep shift start times consistent each week
  • Epic charting experience is preferred
  • Only one holiday off will be approved during the contract
  • Return staff must have been separated from the facility for at least one year to be eligible
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility for travel consideration
  • Local candidates are accepted at a local rate
  • Completion of hospital modules is required during orientation, with variable hours depending on specialty

  • Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department RN experience required
  • Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (AHA preferred, all in hand)
  • Availability to complete lab work within 3-5 days of offer acceptance
