Why we need you

Springboard Collaborative invites talented and passionate candidates to apply for the position of Future Forward Family Engagement Coordinator. The Family Engagement Coordinator communicates with the families of participants in our early literacy tutoring programs to enhance student reading progress . This is a full-time, in-person, fixed-term p osition in Fresno for the 2025-2026 school year , with a pay rate of $35 / hour. We hope for new employees to start in late summer or early fall.

Here are your responsibilities :

• Collaborate with teachers, tutors, the Instructional Coordinator, and other staff to ensure families receive information on their children's progress and how best to support their children's academic achievement
• Contact and engage with caregivers at least twice monthly to discuss student progress
• Complete at least one successful home visit per semester for each family
• Coordinate monthly family events, including active outreach to families to ensure caregiver involvement
• Continually learn about the needs of each child and family, and ensure those needs are met
• Observe tutoring sessions for all participating students at least once each month
• Meet with teachers and staff to evaluate program progress and share feedback and concerns from families
• Attend all required professional development trainings, continuing education, workshops, programs, and special events

The pay for this position is $35 / hour

Location

This role will be performed on-site in Fresno, CA at multiple school locations.
