Building Materials Delivery Truck Driver

We are seeking a Local Delivery driver with a class B / C CDL license with HAZMAT, preferred but not required for our Linthicum Heights, MD Branch! To be successful in this role, a candidate should be organized, proactive, possess the ability to multitask in a busy work environment and have the communication skills to handle any customer questions and concerns.

Job Responsibilities :

• Load truck accurately and safely for scheduled deliveries
• Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials, and an exemplary driving record. Obey traffic laws
• Conduct self in a professional manner. Treat customers, vendors, and co-workers with respect and all times
• Perform routine maintenance check on vehicles
• Perform daily and weekly cleanings of each vehicle.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse and showroom as needed.
• Properly fill out Expense Reports
• Manage time appropriately
• Driver Log filled out daily
• Make sure the proper signature is on all paperwork.
• Maintain PPE case
• Accountable for information in the Employee Handbook
• Accepts Assigned Duties in a cooperative manner and willingly accepts other duties as assigned by appropriate personnel

Qualifications :

Valid Driver's License - CDL and HAZMAT preferred

Ability to obtain a DOT Medical card

Clean driving record

Ability to pass background check and drug test

Must possess a positive and professional attitude

Excellent customer service

Ability to lift up to 50lbs
