Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology assignment requiring active WA or compact RN licensure and proficiency with EPIC documentation.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit
  • Supports cardiac procedures, MRGFUS, CT, and MRI cases
  • Average daily census includes 4 coronary CTA and 5 MRI-guided procedures
  • Patient ratio is 1 : 1 within 2 procedure rooms
  • Duties include coronary CTA, sedation monitoring, IV support, and contrast allergy monitoring
  • Day shift schedule of 4x10-hour shifts from 7 : 00 to 17 : 30, with potential flexibility for 3x12-hour shifts
  • Use of pacemaker interrogation equipment and monitoring
  • Required to float between facilities within state as needed
  • Primary responsibilities include assisting in specialized cardiac and MRI-guided procedures and monitoring patients under sedation
  • Frequent use of advanced imaging and cardiac support equipment
  • All travelers must be willing to float between units and facilities as needed
  • Reliable transportation is required; travel pairs must have separate vehicles
  • Minimal to no requested time off accepted post-submission; RTO must be approved at submission
  • Completion of non-billable training modules is required before start and annually
  • Dress code and specific scrub requirements will be provided upon assignment
  • First-time travelers are welcome if all requirements are met

  • Active WA or compact RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience, with Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab experience preferred
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
  • Must provide two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility for travel assignment eligibility
  • Must not have worked as permanent staff at Swedish facilities within the last 3 months
