American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology assignment requiring active WA or compact RN licensure and proficiency with EPIC documentation.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Hospital-based Interventional Radiology unitSupports cardiac procedures, MRGFUS, CT, and MRI casesAverage daily census includes 4 coronary CTA and 5 MRI-guided proceduresPatient ratio is 1 : 1 within 2 procedure roomsDuties include coronary CTA, sedation monitoring, IV support, and contrast allergy monitoringDay shift schedule of 4x10-hour shifts from 7 : 00 to 17 : 30, with potential flexibility for 3x12-hour shiftsUse of pacemaker interrogation equipment and monitoringRequired to float between facilities within state as neededPrimary responsibilities include assisting in specialized cardiac and MRI-guided procedures and monitoring patients under sedationFrequent use of advanced imaging and cardiac support equipmentAll travelers must be willing to float between units and facilities as neededReliable transportation is required; travel pairs must have separate vehiclesMinimal to no requested time off accepted post-submission; RTO must be approved at submissionCompletion of non-billable training modules is required before start and annuallyDress code and specific scrub requirements will be provided upon assignmentFirst-time travelers are welcome if all requirements are met\n \n Requirements\n
Active WA or compact RN licenseMinimum of 1 year recent RN experience, with Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab experience preferredCurrent ACLS and BLS certificationsProficiency with EPIC EMR requiredMust provide two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 yearsMust reside more than 50 miles from the facility for travel assignment eligibilityMust not have worked as permanent staff at Swedish facilities within the last 3 months\n Benefits\n
