We are currently seeking a talented and driven Controls Engineer to join our team in Georgetown, KY. This is an onsite role with occasional domestic and international travel, supporting industrial control systems and automation initiatives.

About the Role
Reporting to the Controls Manager , you will implement production networking systems , collaborate with multiple teams to meet model project milestones, maintain current production models, and continuously improve team capabilities in industrial controls, applications, and monitoring systems.
What You'll Be Doing
Implementing Controls, Applications, and Health systems across North America Body Weld shops
Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to meet project objectives
Project management : scheduling, budgeting, and executing projects
Supporting internal innovation initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Staying up to date with industry best practices in industrial controls and monitoring systems
Authoring standards, procedures, technical memos, and manuals
Collaborating cross-functionally across NAMCs and external partners to solve technical challenges
Presenting updates and technical findings to peers and executive management
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Industrial Engineering, Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Project management experience
Experience deploying industrial network-connected devices
Experience with application server setup and configuration
Database operations experience
PLC programming experience
Knowledge of data collection protocols
Experience with SCADA software
Expertise in at least one of the following : Industrial controls, Application development, or Monitoring equipment health
Ability / willingness to work up to 30% overtime, weekends, holidays, and shutdown periods
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Body Weld experience
Knowledge of multiple programming languages (Python, VB.Net, BCL, SQL)
Experience with data analytics software (PowerBI, Tableau)
Additional industrial controls or application development experience
Experience monitoring equipment health and reliability
Interview Process
One-round STAR / Video interview (60 minutes with the manager)
