The Prevention and Awareness Program Manager plays a key role in executing high-impact initiatives and evaluating their reach and effectiveness over time. The ideal candidate brings a creative, trauma-informed, and equity-centered approach to the work and is energized by opportunities to improve established programs through thoughtful assessment and collaboration.

The role requires a strong understanding of intersectionality and the ability to engage diverse campus communities across identities, experiences, and roles. Consistent with the College's Jesuit mission and commitment to inclusive excellence, it is necessary that the Prevention and Awareness Program Manager's approach embraces our community culture of freedom, mutual respect, and civility.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Execute awareness campaigns and signature events outlined in the College's comprehensive sexual violence prevention and education plan.
  • Implement strategies for event outreach and engagement in collaboration with campus partners.
  • Assist in the facilitation of prevention education programs and trainings, including workshops for students, faculty, and staff.
  • Help manage logistics and content updates for the Office's intranet and newsletter, ensuring timely and accessible communication.
  • Support the evaluation of awareness campaigns, programs, and trainings by collecting feedback, analyzing reach and engagement, and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Recommend evidence-informed updates to improve future campaigns and programming effectiveness or expand impact.
  • Develop and design engaging online and print materials, including posters, video reels, social media content, and other multimedia to support awareness campaigns and educational initiatives.
  • Create print and digital educational materials aligned with College policies and national best practices.
  • Ensure all materials reflect current data, inclusive messaging, and align with College Marketing and Communications guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain dependable and professional partnerships across departments by following through on commitments and communicating clearly and effectively.
  • Represent the office at campus-wide events, workshops, and student-centered initiatives, helping to amplify the visibility and impact of prevention education.
  • Serve as a responsive and reliable liaison to departments such as Wellness, Student Accessibility Services, Justice, Equity, Belonging, and Identity (JEBI), Residence Life, Athletics, and Academic Affairs.
  • Actively contribute to a culture of collaboration by bringing ideas forward, following through on shared goals, and participating in campus initiatives that align with the Office of Title IX & Equal Opportunity's prevention and education strategic plan.
  • Contribute to the visibility and understanding of the office's adjudication-related functions through outreach and communications that promote trust, transparency, and access.
  • Support the Office's efforts to educate the campus community about equal opportunity, Title IX, and other civil rights-related policies and processes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of trends and best practices in prevention, Title IX compliance, and inclusive education.
  • Attend in-person and virtual conferences, workshops, and trainings as needed or approved to maintain current knowledge and support ongoing professional growth.
  • Serve as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) under the Clery Act and as a Responsible Employee under the College's policies.
  • Assist in the implementation of compliance-related education, including annual trainings required by Title IX, VAWA, Clery, and other applicable laws.
  • Assist in tracking completion of trainings and attendance at events.
