Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in Auburn, NY is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with experience in Operating Room Technology (ORT) for a contract position. This role focuses on supporting surgical teams by preparing and maintaining a sterile environment, ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are ready for use, and assisting throughout procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery by ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and functioning
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during procedures by providing appropriate tools and maintaining a sterile field
• Monitor and manage surgical supplies and equipment inventory
• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols in the OR
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate efficient and safe patient care
