What You’ll Do

As a Maternity Services Charge Nurse, you’ll report to the Director and / or Manager. You will be the administrative representative and nursing leader for a designated shift. You’ll assign job duties and patient care to facilitate high-quality, cost-effective care. You will collaborate with other professional, clinical, and ancillary staff in providing quality care to patients.

As a Charge RN, you're flexible and responsive to scheduling needs, supporting both staff and departmental operations. Your ability to build effective relationships with staff, physicians, and patients makes you a respected role model. Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—enable you to interact professionally across all levels.
