Center for Pain Control is a private pain management facility located in West Reading specializing in patient centered care offering a multimodal approach to address the needs of patients with chronic pain. The PA will work under the supervision of a licensed pain management physician, providing comprehensive care for patients suffering from chronic pain conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in interventional procedures, medication management.
Requirements :
- Active PA license in PA
- Active DEA license in PA
- Experience with Pain Management preferred, but we will train the right candidate.

Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments specific to pain complaints.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.Assist with and perform interventional procedures (e.g., trigger point injections, joint injections, nerve blocks) as permitted by state law and training.Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with state regulations and practice protocols.Educate patients and their families about pain management plans, medications, and non-pharmacological options.Monitor and manage patients with chronic pain, including follow-up visits and medication management.Collaborate with physical therapists, behavioral health professionals, and other specialists to ensure a multidisciplinary approach.Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.Participate in quality improvement initiatives, compliance audits, and continuing education to stay current on best practices in pain medicine.
