Biosample Operations Specialist

A company is looking for a Biosample Operations Specialist to oversee biomarker laboratory samples for clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and oversee operational activities for the lifecycle of biomarker samples ensuring integrity and compliance

Collaborate with study teams and scientists to develop biological sample management plans

Interface with laboratory personnel and vendors to ensure proper sample shipment and receipt, addressing any issues that arise

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Immunology, Medical Technology, or related life sciences field preferred

Experience in a laboratory, research site, or clinical trial management role at a biopharma company

Working knowledge of FDA & ICH / GCP regulations

Ability to manage sample activities across multiple projects while maintaining an electronic tracking system

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
