Program Overview :
On-the-Job Training : Complete 2000 hours with guidance from a skilled MA coach (paid).Supplemental Coursework : Finish 410 hours of online coursework (unpaid).In-Person Lab Days : Attend 3 lab days with an expert instructor to practice essential hands-on technical skills.Reporting : Log and report on-the-job hours and skill practices as required.Skill Mastery : Successfully perform and demonstrate mastery of essential skills to complete the program.What You'll Do :
Maintain and update patient medical records, including medical history, vital signs, treatments, and medications.Prepare for patient visits by ensuring necessary reports are available.Collaborate with Providers to optimize schedules and patient care.Prepare and maintain patient exam rooms with necessary supplies and sterilized equipment.Assist patients before examinations and educate them on procedures and medications.Respond to patient inquiries in person and via email and direct as appropriate.Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, anticipating their needs.Collect laboratory specimens, complete screenings, and manage patient data per protocol.Prepare and administer medications as instructed by physicians.What We're Looking For :
