Nook Group Ex Instructors are responsible for leading the group exercise classes, educating members, and maintaining a safe fitness environment for members and fellow instructors. All instructors must have a valid certification in CPR / AED as well as a current certification in Yoga.

Basic Qualifications :
OH Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance : Must be dated within the past 5 years and specifically for employment (not volunteer). o NOTE : If you do not have already these clearances, you will be provided with instructions when an offer of employment is made. Results can take up to 4-6 weeks. Both clearances must be presented before employment can begin.Current CPR / AED CertificationCurrent certification in one of the following : Yoga, Pilates, Barre18 years of age or olderDependable transportation to and from workLanguage skills : Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communicationAbility to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with any reasonable accommodations as necessary.Availability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and / or holidays as needed.Authorized to work in the United StatesPreferred Qualifications :

Work environment : Upbeat, high-energy sports and event complex with heavy foot traffic and frequent large crowds.Physical requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to perform physical activity that includes moving about the work area, standing, sitting, bending, reaching with hands and arms, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, hearing and smelling. The team member will be frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. He or she is required to have the visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.As a Group Fitness Instructor, the team member must be physically capable of performing the movements required of the specific group exercise class for which he or she is responsible for teaching.Lifting requirements : The team member will be required to lift, push, pull, lower and / or move up to 10 lbs regularly, and frequently up to 50 lbs repeatedly as required to instruct members.Noise Level : The noise level in this environment is typically moderate to loud.Work schedule : The work schedule may fluctuate to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
