Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Home Health Aide based in Manistique, MI, with most work days spent in patient homes or care facility. With onsite orientation and some onsite training. Responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation. The role involves working closely with patients to provide personal and compassionate care while ensuring their comfort and hygiene. Additional tasks include monitoring patient conditions, providing emotional support, and maintaining communication with the care team to update on patient progress or concerns.

Qualifications

• Experience in Home Care and the ability to support patients within a home-based setting
• Strong Communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with family members and care teams
• Proficiency in assisting with Activities of Daily Living such as hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation
• Skills and experience in Patient Care and providing emotional and physical support
• Competency in carrying out Personal Care tasks with respect and sensitivity
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in a hybrid work setting
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; CNA certification is required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for visiting clients
