Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Must have Neuro ICU experience

    • \n

  • 3 years of ICU experience required

    • \n

  • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM

    • \n

  • 36 guaranteed hours per week

    • \n

  • Every other weekend required

    • \n

  • No call requirements

    • \n

  • Patient ratio of 1 : 2

    • \n

  • Float to Neuro ICU, Surgical / Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU based on experience

    • \n

  • May float to IMC with patient ratios of 1 : 3

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, NIHSS

    • \n

  • Work with EPIC EMR system

    • \n

  • Care for patients with medical complications related to sepsis, ARDS, GI bleeds, DKA and others

    • \n

  • Non-specific scrub color requirements

    • \n

  • Must demonstrate focus on outstanding patient care, team communication, and drive to excel

    This healthcare facility operates a 32-bed intensive care unit (20 Medical, 12 Neuro ICU) within a tertiary care and teaching institute.
