This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Manager, Product Security in the United States .

This role provides the opportunity to lead a high-impact product security team focused on embedding security best practices into product development. You will oversee risk management, vulnerability assessment, and secure design processes, ensuring products are resilient and compliant with industry standards. This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and security teams to drive secure product outcomes. You will shape security policies, mentor team members, and influence the organization’s overall security posture. Working in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment, you will have the chance to contribute to innovative solutions that protect critical systems and data across complex technology platforms.

Accountabilities :

  • Lead threat modeling and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and evaluate their impact.
  • Advocate for and implement secure design principles across product development.
  • Manage vulnerability testing, including static / dynamic analysis and penetration testing, prioritizing remediation efforts.
  • Ensure product compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements; maintain documentation and support audits.
  • Develop and maintain product-specific incident response plans and collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC).
  • Stay current with evolving security threats, technologies, and best practices, continuously improving processes.
  • Mentor and guide team members to strengthen the security knowledge and capabilities within the product organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent).
  • 10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on product security experience, ideally in FinTech or regulated industries.
  • Proven leadership experience with 3-5 years managing cybersecurity teams or projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in secure coding, vulnerability management, risk assessment, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), serverless computing, API security, OS hardening, SDLC, and network security.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on security trends and emerging technologies.
