Security Guard - Manufacturing Facility Patrol

As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Facility Patrol in Flushing, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and delivering clear communication to all individuals onsite. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or unauthorized individuals within the facility and promptly report findings to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and vendors with inquiries or directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Prepare and submit clear and concise reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities while on duty.
  • Work in varying environments and conditions as required by the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
