Baytown, TX – Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Diesel Mechanic Specialist)

Location : Baytown, TX – Tenaris Facility

Employment : Full-time, Day shift

Pay : $$25-$34 / hr PLUS Sign on Bonus!!

Job Title : Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Equipment, Forklift & Gen Set Specialist

Reporting To : Maintenance Manager

Qualifications

5+ years experience in heavy equipment maintenance

Strong knowledge of drive train, diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems

Experience with Cat, Hyster, Ottawa, Terberg, John Deere or similar

High school diploma or equivalent (certifications a plus)

Skills / Abilities

Own tools & toolbox required

Strong organizational, ethical, interpersonal skills

Swift learner, safety-minded, physically organized

Valid driver’s license require

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance using detailed inspection checklists

Work with diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical systems

Troubleshoot forklifts, trucks, wheel loaders

Read electrical / hydraulic schematics

Use computer maintenance programs to log service and parts

Interpret equipment service manuals as needed
