TekPro is partnering with a cutting‑edge CNC shop in the northwest Chicago suburbs to hire experienced CNC operators who thrive in a precision, production setting.

Core responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery to meet quality and throughput goals.

Operate one or more : Swiss CNC lathes, CNC lathes, CNC mills, grinders, or Wire EDM.

Adjust offsets and parameters; monitor processes to maintain dimensional accuracy.

Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.

Finish parts to specification via deburring, buffing, and sanding.

Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using standard metrology tools.

Execute preventive maintenance routines.

Must‑haves

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years of CNC operating experience

Proficiency reading blueprints; experience with small, tight‑tolerance components

Strong written and verbal communication; basic understanding of lean manufacturing

Tools & technologies

CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC)

CNC Lathe (2–4 axis)

CNC Swiss Lathe
