NW Employment Solutions is partnered with a Metal Components Company in Tualatin and we are looking to add an Maintenance Tech to join our team.

Shift : Day 6am-2 : 30pm

Pay : $25-30 DOE

This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and mechanical equipment. Includes installation of new equipment, performance of regular services and periodic / preventive maintenance procedures and troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs repair and periodic maintenance on production equipment : punches, lasers, press brakes, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Uses hand and power tools to inspect, lubricate, repair, fabricate, assemble, and install equipment.
• Works closely with machine operators and production supervisors and assists in the startup, operation and troubleshooting / repair of equipment.
• Utilizes a variety of electrical, pneumatic, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical and welding procedures / equipment.
• Performs facility-related (including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC) preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair as necessary.
• Follows proper practices / procedures to minimize the down time of machines by keeping them in safe working order.
• Follows established safety protocols including required usage of PPE; helps to maintain a safe working environment.
• Keeps work area clean and organized
• Performs other duties as assigned
