Responsibilities
- Inspect and prep new vehicles’ safety, electrical, and mechanical components prior to customer delivery by our sales team.
- Check new vehicle fluid level, tire inflation, and lighting operation.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Installation of any customer-specific add-ons.
- Track all parts and materials used in repairs and / or replacements, and document per protocol.
- Ensure that the final product meets quality standards.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2+ years of Service Technician experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification requiredB level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine RepairDexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordinationMechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentExcellent customer service skills and basic computer competenciesPositive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improveEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentTeammate with the ability to collaborate with others effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specificationsValid driver's license and clean driving recordTechnician Benefits
