Position Title : Security Officer

Location : New York, NY

Schedule : All days / shifts available.

Pay : $18.00 per hour

High End Retail Security experience required.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Detect suspicious activities and watch for criminal acts or client rule infractions at or near assigned post which may be a threat to the property, client or employees at the site.
• Report all incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies.
• Respond to emergencies, such as medical and bomb threats; and to alarms, such as fire and intrusion by following emergency response proceedings.
• Serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
• Come to work on time and complete shift assignments (including overtime, if assigned).
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and come to work in complete and clean assigned uniform.
• Exhibit a friendly professional demeanor and provide quality customer service.
• Communicate effectively (both verbal and written) and handle typical crisis situations efficiently and effectively.
• Understand and execute post orders including enforcement of client and company policies, rules, and regulations.

Education Requirements :

HS Diploma, GED or H.S. Equivalent

Certification Requirements :

New York Guard Card
