Tax Manager - National Real Estate

National Tax Manager

EisnerAmper is seeking a National Tax Manager to join our Real Estate Tax Group. We are looking for someone who thrives in a growing environment and provides exceptional services to clients. This individual will receive training and mentorship, along with opportunities for advancement and growth.

Responsibilities include :

• Research and analysis of various federal income tax issues
• Transactional analysis and tax structuring related to the acquisition, restructuring, and disposition of real estate assets
• Managing REIT tax structuring and due diligence projects
• Consulting and advising on like-kind exchanges and reverse like-kind exchanges
• Assisting with the review of fund documents, joint venture / lower-tier partnership agreements, and the tax consequences of the economic agreements
• Drafting emails and memos
• Reviewing tax projections, tax workpapers, and tax returns for clients in the real estate industry
• Overseeing and managing the tax return process
• Monitoring and reviewing legislative and administrative updates impacting real estate, REITs, real estate private equity, and debt fund clients
• Drafting Firm-wide alerts on current developments in federal income tax
• Assisting with Firm-wide trainings in federal income tax

For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between $125,000.00 and $200,000. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
