As a Senior Superintendent, you’ll serve as the on-site leader — managing field operations, coordinating trades, and ensuring all construction activities align with the project schedule, budget, and design intent.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site construction activities for interior build-outs, renovations, and complex commercial projects
- Oversee field supervision, subcontractor coordination, and daily jobsite operations
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, schedule, and quality control standards
- Collaborate closely with project managers, owners, and architects to resolve field issues and maintain open communication
- Ensure all work complies with contract documents, building codes, and company standards
- Review drawings, RFIs, and submittals to proactively identify potential conflicts or design challenges
- Direct and mentor field staff, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork
- Lead subcontractor meetings and coordinate project logistics, sequencing, and manpower planning
- Drive project closeout, punch list completion, and turnover activities
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years leading as a SuperintendentProven background in interior construction , particularly healthcare and educational projectsStrong technical understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and interior systems (MEP coordination, finishes, life safety, infection control, etc.)Excellent leadership and communication skills with a track record of building positive relationships on siteProficiency with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platformsOSHA 30 certification preferredAbility to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings with a high level of detailStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
