Job descriptionHigh School diploma AND Associate Degree or completed trade school study relevant toward CNC machine manufacturing. 5-axis CNC milling machines controls, retrieve and run programs experience 5+ years experience with close tolerance CNC Milling Machines manufacturing : machine operation, programming, and cutting tool selection and maintenance CNC cutting tools (reamers, end mills, boring bars, taps, drills) experience Standard Operating Procedures experience Familiarity of G & M Code programming techniques (Heidenhain, Mazatrol) experience preferred Ability to read and understand blueprints and GD&T experience. Measuring equipment experience (micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, go / no-go gauges, etc.). Previous race or production engine assembly or rebuilding experience Previous Aerospace or Defense industry experience (Deburr, and / or Assembly) Collaborate with Manufacture Engineering to optimize machining processes Assist maintenance personnel with the diagnosis and correction of machine tool geometry Follow the production schedule and proactively verify machines are configured correctly SOPs and drawing set up instructions, load castings & raw materials Ensure all machines are running in accordance with the daily published schedule Perform required daily maintenance activities on assigned CNC machine Coordinate with the QC department to validate part quality from QC reports Document machine and automation robot issues Retrieve and / or build cutting
