  • Accountability: We take ownership of the quality of our work and the outcomes we deliver. Our focus is on delivering a best-in-class experience for our partners while achieving bold targets.
  • Progress: We believe in moving healthcare forward in everything we do. We strive for a culture that is innovating better ways to deliver pharmaceutical care.

  • Review and manage prescription data entry, medication interactions, contraindications, and other safety considerations related to specialty medications.
  • Coordinate with Patient Care Coordinators and other pharmacy team members to ensure that patients receive seamless service and support.
  • Assist patients in understanding the therapeutic goals of their treatment, helping them manage their conditions and improve quality of life.
  • Offer support and resources for managing financial barriers, insurance, and access to medication assistance programs.
  • Document clinical interventions, medication adjustments, and follow-up actions to ensure continuous care and adherence to therapy within the pharmacy management system.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA, for patient confidentiality and documentation standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of patient care.
  • Monitor medication therapy outcomes and patient satisfaction, providing feedback to improve services and reduce potential risks.
  • Stay current with the latest trends, therapies, and guidelines in the specialty pharmacy field.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development through attending conferences, seminars, and other education opportunities.
  • Mentor and support other pharmacy team members in their clinical education and career growth.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Other activities and projects as necessary.

In the first 90 days, you will:

  • Become proficient in the pharmacy management system, patient management system, and internal workflows.
  • Establish relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and partner pharmacies.

  • Ability to assess complex medication regimens and make appropriate clinical interventions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare providers.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
