PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Provide health services to students in the absence of the regular campus nurse. Support student success by
promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of students, staff, and the school community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License.
• Valid CPR Certification.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Practical knowledge of nursing procedures and techniques relevant to children.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while following district policies and procedures.

Experience:

• School nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and first aid to students.
• Administer medications and treatments according to district policies.
• Maintain accurate student health records and report concerns as needed.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and administration.
• Consult with Lead Nurses or other campus nurses for support and guidance as necessary.

PAY: $125 per day (RN or LVN)
