Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - CVICU

Job Details :

  • Work 12.5-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM or 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Rotating weekend schedule required
  • No call requirements
  • 13 or 26 week assignment lengths available
  • Must have 2+ years ICU experience
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH
  • Active Texas RN License required (no temporary licenses accepted)
  • Must have experience with hemodynamic monitoring (Swan-Ganz catheters, arterial lines)
  • Ventilator management experience required
  • Strong critical thinking skills essential
  • Preferred skills include IABP exposure, CRRT exposure, and Meditech charting experience
  • Handle post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-catheterization patients with cardiac support devices
  • Work with IABP, Impella, and ECMO devices
  • Device training will be provided by the hospital
  • All travelers required to float according to Methodist Floating Policy
  • Documentation system : Meditech
  • Dress code : Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket
  • Must badge in and out for shifts and take full 30-minute lunch
  • Clock in time by 6 : 38 AM / PM (after 6 : 45 considered tardy)
