Control Systems Integration Engineer

Shape tomorrow's mobility—one system at a time

Location : Alamance, NC

Picture your day : you start by reviewing last night's test runs, correlating data against specifications you authored. Before lunch, you refine a set of control algorithms, then collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to troubleshoot a performance variance. In the afternoon, you draft a new validation procedure, update requirements traceability, and close with a safety walk to ensure our work meets health, safety, and environmental expectations.

Your impact

  • Design, integrate, and validate systems and control solutions through feasibility studies, prototyping, and implementation.
  • Create, refine, and evaluate engineering standards and specifications.
  • Analyze performance data to detect trends, diagnose root causes, and support solution development.
  • Author and execute test procedures aligned to product requirements.
  • Maintain requirements traceability and verification throughout the lifecycle.
  • Partner across functions to troubleshoot, optimize system behavior, and drive reliability.
  • Participate in ongoing training to expand skills and capabilities.
  • Champion compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of experience in systems or controls engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance.
  • Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with systems engineering methodologies and lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of advanced data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience contributing within cross-functional, global teams.
  • Tools and proficiencies

  • Quality Control Experience
  • Quality Control Data Analysis
  • Network Connectivity Experience (TCP / IP, SDWAN)
