Software Developer - Data Migration

Trax is hiring a Software Developer to join our Data Migration team. This is an entry level position for developers with a passion for Data and Data Management. Developers at Trax play key roles in the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of our software. TRAX is a highly collaborative environment where developers work very closely with other team members and clients to solve problems. The Data Migration team is a critical element of our implementation process to sure data integrity and validation.

Responsibilities:

• Database basic design techniques understanding relational Databases and being able to write select statements to retrieve information from the database.
• Ability to navigate the interface and operate IDEs efficiently using the taskbar.
• Familiar with at least one programming language Java, C# and. NET
• Modifies and maintains software programs written by others.
• Creates test transactions, runs tests to find errors, and confirms the program meets specifications. Analyze code to find causes of errors and revises the program.
• Designs or writes program specifications based on consultations with supervisors, system analysts, other programmers, and end users.
• Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor in computer science or Background in programming or Computer Science/Engineering required.
• Strong knowledge of relational database schemas and SQL.
• Experience using a modern GUI developmental tool such as SQL Developer or Eclipse.
• The ideal candidate would have programmed a software program (windows or web-based) that interacts with a relational database.
• Ability to Travel 25% Domestically and Internationally.
