Provide a short description of the Position : The Web Developer will design, develop and implement PORTS projects for Office of Parks Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) agency. Web Developer will collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective, scable application solutions.
Provide a list of the day to day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate :
- Design and implement interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular and Bootstrap.
- Apply UI / UX design principles and design patterns to develop web applications.
- Consume and integrate RESTful APIs in front-end applications to deliver dynamic, data-driven user experiences.
- Develop and maintain backend services and .NET components based on technical and business requirements.
- Design and implement REST APIs using .NET 8 and C# for seamless integration with front-end applications.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL Server Stored Procedures to support robust data operations and backend functionality.
- Collaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and easy-to-use solutions.
- Work with Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) vendors and internal IT teams to define and implement application requirements and integrations.
- Participate in all phases of the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC), ensuring compliance with security and quality standards.
- Design, document and maintain technical architecture, including front-end and back-end components and system integrations.
- Use TFS and Git for version control, ensuring code quality, traceability and efficient collaboration.
- Maintain and organize documentation repositories to support ongoing development, maintenance and onboarding activities."
