Duties

Develops standards for technical performance for outsourcing; conducts regular reviews of vendor’s contract performance; Serves as COR for the IT Support Services Contract and oversees CORs for outsourcing contracts; Oversees branch efforts for the contract re-compete process, including requirements generation, RFP creation and evaluation. Leads the preparation of long-term and short-term strategic plans; Manages the operations of the branch, including setting priorities, allocating resources, managing personnel, staff recruitment & training, performance evaluation and providing general oversight of projects. Develops, implements, and monitors the branch budget and budget expenditures; develops budget forecasts; creates documentation justifying requests; provides input into budget testimony; Uses cost / benefit analysis on a continuing basis to assess efficiency of services. Manages and supervises staff recruitment, training, motivation, and performance evaluation. Establishes policies and practices governing the operation, services, and staff of the branch. Prepares and maintains status reports; approves purchases; and performs related administrative requirements. Other duties as assigned.
