Job Summary

As a vital member of the clinic team, you will perform patient care within the scope of your medical assistant license, accurately carrying out provider orders and facilitating patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency. You will assist with treatments and procedures, prepare patients for exams, administer immunizations under supervision, and maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks and assist providers within the MA scope of practice.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members to manage wait times and patient flow.
• Administer immunizations as ordered and ensure proper documentation and compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, manage sample medications, and uphold infection control standards.
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with referral coordinators to ensure timely processing.
• Support a clean and safe clinical environment in collaboration with environmental services.
• Engage in ongoing learning, teamwork, and uphold professional and ethical standards.
