PS Companies is seeking a per diem / prn Physical Therapist for a per diem / prn job in Larned, Kansas.

Location : Local Assignment (Larned, KS)

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist for a local temp-to-perm opportunity . This position offers the chance to work directly with patients to improve mobility, function, and quality of life within a supportive outpatient environment.

The assignment will start on a contract basis with the intent to transition to a permanent hire once a strong mutual fit is established — this is not intended to remain a long-term contract role .

Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate, plan, and implement personalized therapy programs for patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on continued care and exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities.

    • Qualifications :

  • Active Physical Therapist License in the state of Kansas.
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Prior outpatient or orthopedic experience preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply.

    • Position Type : Temp-to-Perm (Local Assignment)

    Schedule : Full-time, flexible hours based on clinic needs

    Compensation : Competitive hourly rate with opportunity for permanent employment and benefits upon conversion

    Required Credentials

  • Active State Physical Therapy License (Kansas)
  • Current Resume (with recent experience)
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
  • TB Test (current within 12 months)
  • Hepatitis B or Declination (HSH)
  • Drug Screen
  • Background Check
  • Pre-Employment Forms / Screening
