Substation Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee a substation project for a large data center. This long-term project is located between Rayville and Delhi, LA, and will span multiple years, potentially lasting from 2 to 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive subcontractor performance to meet project objectives.
• Lead subcontractor crews in building a substation.
• Ensure overall production quality and efficiency of the project and crew(s).
• Lead a team of up to 25 people at a time.
• Oversee company projects during construction and commissioning phases.
• Ensure subcontractors execute work in compliance with safety, quality, and contractual standards.
• Implement change management, risk management, and adhere to schedule requirements.
• Communicate effectively with the project team and stakeholders.
• Conduct standardized reporting and construction meetings.

Work Environment

This project involves working on-site in the field, coordinating subcontractor crews. Work hours typically exceed 50 hours per week, structured as 10-hour days for 5 days a week. The role includes standard per diem and time-and-a-half pay. Holidays and PTO are offered, with billing adjustments. The project is located in Louisiana, with a growing footprint within Entergy and other utilities, offering future project opportunities. Projects have already been awarded for 2024 and 2025, ensuring a solid backlog.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00 / hr.
