Traffic Control Service Tech

Diagnose, repair, and maintain various automated gate systems, including slide gates, spike systems, barrier arms, and hydraulic / automated traffic barriers.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on gate systems to ensure long-term reliability and optimal performance.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to effectively troubleshoot and repair systems.
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner and provide clear documentation of all work performed.
• Work closely with customers, property managers, and site contacts to ensure minimal disruption during service.
• Install new traffic control equipment as needed and ensure compliance with manufacturer and safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and adhere to all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Travel to various job sites on a weekly basis, sometimes requiring overnight stays

• Additional Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience servicing traffic control gate systems.

• Proficient with systems and equipment from Magnetic Automation, DKS (Doorking), Delta Scientific, and similar manufacturers.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform work in various outdoor conditions.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Certifications in low-voltage electrical systems or manufacturer-specific training.
• Experience with access control integration or networking equipment.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 / hr.
