Position Overview

We are seeking a Tax Senior or Tax Manager who is ready to take ownership of client relationships, lead engagements, and help guide our team with efficiency and excellence. This position is ideal for a motivated professional looking for a long-term opportunity in a firm that values autonomy, flexibility, and strong client service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, manage and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
  • Supervise and mentor staff and senior accountants, providing training and feedback
  • Conduct tax planning and research for clients in diverse industries
  • Maintain direct client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax and business matters
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and client growth
  • Collaborate with management team to manage engagements, deadlines, and client expectations
  • Stay current with tax law changes and communicate relevant updates to clients and the team

Qualifications

  • CPA license or EA certification required for Tax Manager level, CPA or EA track for Tax Senior level
  • 3-7+ years of progressive experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation
  • Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax law
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with GoSystems, GoFileRoom, QuickBooks Online, and Fixed Asset CS is a plus
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

    • What We Offer

  • Salary Range $90,000 to $130,000 depending on experience and FT / PT status
  • Hybrid Position – 2 to 3 days per week in office, with office closures for inclement weather
