Eventual is a fast-growing data infrastructure startup founded in 2022 to reinvent how multimodal data-images, video, audio, and text-are queried and processed at scale. Its open-source engine, Daft , is designed for AI workloads that traditional analytics platforms like Databricks and Snowflake can't handle.
Already trusted by leading organizations such as Amazon, Mobileye, Together AI, and CloudKitchens, Eventual has raised Series A funding from top firms including Felicis, CRV, Microsoft M12, Citi, Essence, Y Combinator, and Caffeinated Capital, along with backing from the co-founders of Databricks and Perplexity.
With a world-class team from Databricks, AWS, Nvidia, Tesla, GitHub Copilot, and Pinecone, Eventual has quadrupled in size within a year and is now doubling again to scale Daft into a category-defining engine for AI data.
