Qualifications and skills :

• Education and experience : A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, though a related technical degree or certification can be a plus. Candidates should have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with some experience in a leadership role.
• Industry knowledge : A strong understanding of precast concrete production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations is essential. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications is also often required.
• Leadership and management : Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills are crucial. The ability to lead and motivate employees effectively is a core function of the job.
• Problem-solving : Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills are needed to resolve production issues and minimize disruptions.
• Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to interact with staff, management, and other departments.
• Computer proficiency : Familiarity with basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and experience with production planning or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is often required.
• Physical requirements : The role may require the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting, balancing, and handling materials.
