Qualifications :
- Education and Experience :
5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA with specific experience in Oracle E-Business Suite.
Technical Skills :Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture and modules (e.g., Financials, Supply Chain, HRMS).
Proficiency in Oracle Database versions 11g, 12c, and 19c.Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.Familiarity with UNIX / Linux operating systems and shell scripting.Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).Performance Tuning :Expertise in database and application performance tuning and optimization.
Ability to analyze AWR / ASH reports and implement performance improvements.Problem Solving :Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Communication Skills :Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Certifications (Preferred) :Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Expert (OCE) in Oracle Database Administration.
Certifications in Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure are a plus.Preferred Experience :
Experience in SOX-compliant environments.Experience with Oracle EBS upgrades and customizations.Experience in supporting global implementations and multi-language environments.Responsibilities :
Database Management :Install, configure, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications and databases.
Perform regular database upgrades, patches, and migrations.Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.Performance Tuning :Conduct performance tuning for Oracle databases, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
Optimize SQL queries and PL / SQL code for improved performance.Backup and Recovery :Implement and manage backup and recovery processes using Oracle RMAN and other tools.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.Security Management :Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.
Manage user access, roles, and permissions to ensure data security.Troubleshooting and Support :Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle EBS applications and databases.
Resolve database issues and collaborate with application teams to identify solutions.System Integration :Integrate Oracle EBS with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.
Develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces, and extensions for Oracle EBS.Documentation :Create and maintain detailed documentation for database configurations, procedures, and processes.
Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures for database management and support.Collaboration :Work closely with IT teams, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Participate in project planning and provide technical expertise for Oracle EBS implementations.#DICE
