Join Our Team as a Surgical Technologist I!

Are you ready to make a difference in the operating room? Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, located at 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215, is seeking dedicated individuals for the Surgical Technologist I position in our General Specialty team. This full-time role offers competitive pay ranging from $26.10 to $39.15 per hour, along with a robust benefits package and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates who may need to relocate.

Your Role :

Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures while utilizing aseptic techniques.

Assist the surgical team by anticipating their needs, passing instruments, and observing strict protocols for cleanliness.

Set up operating rooms efficiently, ensuring availability of all necessary equipment.

Maintain specialty carts and keep accurate inventory of surgical supplies.

Transport patients and equipment with attention to their safety and comfort.

Requirements :

Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of employment.

A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements :

Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Ability to perform repetitive movements and remain on your feet for extended periods.
