Compensation : $145,000 $195,000 (commensurate with experience) + full benefits, including HSA with employer contribution

Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned and independent Associate or Senior Associate Attorney (minimum 5 years relevant experience) to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, detail-obsessed professional with a track record of handling complex transactional and regulatory matters in the communications and information services industries. This role is ideal for an attorney with strong analytical and writing skills who thrives in a disciplined, process-driven environment and values precision, accountability, and autonomy.
This is not a training ground role. We are looking for a proven contributor someone who already gets it and is ready to plug in and deliver high-quality, client-ready work with minimal handholding.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and prosecute federal and state regulatory approvals, licenses, and registrations, including before Public Utility Commissions and the FCC.
- Structure, negotiate, and draft commercial contracts, including carrier agreements, service contracts, terms and conditions, and NDAs.
- Provide legal advice on telecommunications regulatory compliance, including VoIP classification, USF contribution obligations, TRS, STIR / SHAKEN, and 911 / E911.
- Advise on wireless spectrum policy and regulatory filings related to private wireless networks and device certification.
- Support privacy and data protection counseling, including CCPA / CPRA, GDPR, and emerging state-level privacy laws.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, consultants, and in-house legal / compliance teams across projects.
- Translate complex regulatory obligations into practical guidance aligned with business objectives.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school; admission in good standing to at least one U.S. jurisdiction.Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience specifically in telecom law; experience in privacy law is a value-add but non-essential.Strong working knowledge of Title II and Title I regulatory frameworks, VoIP, broadband, and wireless services.Experience handling regulatory filings and proceedings before state utility commissions and / or the FCC.Transactional experience in the telecom / tech sector, including commercial contract drafting and negotiation.Familiarity with regulatory classification issues, reseller / provider distinctions, and federal-state preemption doctrines.Proficiency with privacy and data protection legal frameworks a plus.Experience working in or with entrepreneurial, nimble environments preferred.We are not just hiring a rsumwe are looking for a professional who fits our culture and ethos :
