ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN
About You
The person we are looking for is dynamic, driven, motivated, and has deep technical expertise. You have exemplary electrical / electronic trouble shooting and problem-solving skills. You are a valuable member of the team and a key player in the success of the business.
Summary
Installs, maintains, trouble shoots, and repairs electrical and mechanical systems, apparatus, and electrical / electronic and mechanical components of industrial machinery and equipment. Provides technical support for all maintenance personnel. Works daily to ensure assigned areas of responsibility are working at risk lowered to ALARA specifically in an effort to achieve ZERO HARM.
To perform well in this role, you will need to :
Directs, tests and diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as Programmable Logic Control Programs, DC drives, AC drives, motors.
Maintains proper logs and records on all equipment.
Initiates and suggest plans to improve electrical equipment performance.
Qualifications to be considered for the role :
Education
Broad technical training (high school + 1–3 years apprenticeship / applied trades training)
2-year degree preferred
Training generally applicable to Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics
Working knowledge of AC and DC drives
Knowledge of control PLC logic
Computer skills, including Windows 11
Experience
Minimum of 6 years of work-related experience required
An equivalent combination of education and work-related experience may be acceptable.
