POSITION SUMMARY

Position Summary :

Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), the licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides safe, efficient patient care to assigned patients. Performs as a positive member of the healthcare team

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing / licensed practical nursing program

Minimum Experience

Hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred

Required Registration / License / Certification

Current Kansas LPN licensure

Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR / AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider), or successful completion within the first 90 days of employment.

Intravenous (IV) certification
